While the history of BYU in the NCAA Tournament does not play into our favor I think the way these teams match up does. BYU is 10-2 ATS after covering 2 of their last 3 against the spread this season and they are 10-0 ATS versus teams who average 6 or less steals per game on the season after 15+ games over the last 2 seasons. In addition to that BYU has maintained a level of consistency throughout the season. On the flip side we have Texas A&M who came out strong on a 15-1 run to start the season. They got cold at the wrong time having lost 6 of their last 10 games. This line is low and I believe making it a sucker bet on A&M. Take the two points as BYU advances to round two of the tourney.

It is not often you will see me on a side the public favors so heavily, but I can not turn away from such a strong team laying only 3 points against a much weaker team. Baylor is not a bad team, but they are on the lower end of the spectrum for NCAA Tournament teams. Purdue is 7-1 ATS when playing against a team with a winning record after 15 or more games this season. Playing against strong Big 10 teams only prepares Purdue for match ups like this. Purdue is 14-3 ATS after a conference game this season. I like the Boilermakers to cover this number big!

5* Best Bet on Kansas State +3.5 -110
I find it hard to believe K-State is geting no love in this match up. An "over acheiving" team going up against a USC team that has went bust on every pre season prediction. Do not forget this is the same K-State team tha pulled off an upset against Kansas back in January and the same USC team that has failed to cover the number in 3 of the last times they played the roll as favorite.
