Ravens vs Colts NFL Playoffs Picks

Written January 11, 2010 by Nick Jones

A fast start and Tom Brady turnovers got the Baltimore Ravens into the next round of the playoffs. Now they face the Indianapolis Colts again but this time will be very different. Quarterback Joe Flacco has a sore right hip that might be worse than Joe & company are letting on. In the win over the Patriots, Flacco went 4-10 for 34 yards – that’s right – in the NFL a team won by passing the ball only 10 times for 34 yards. The Ravens say they adjust their game plan according to thee game and defenses but really? Flacco pretty much handed off the ball and stayed out of the way. Can they beat the Colts that way?

Super Bowl or bust seems to be the battle cry of the Indianapolis Colts since they basically gave away their chance for a perfect season. So now their fans want to know how they are going to avoid the same old problems of early playoff exits. The Colts haven’t won a playoff game since winning the Super Bowl in February 2007. And they’ve been knocked out of the playoffs following first round byes the past 3 years. Hopefully, this year’s bye week will give them the rest that they need to come back out as the championship team that they believe they are.
