The Jones Report: Monday’s Free Basketball Picks
Written January 18, 2009 by Nick Jones
The board for Monday brings a lot of big time profit opportunity. In fact, featured on today’s premium card is a College Basketball Wiseguy that is sure to stuff your pockets with cash. Now, please forgive this shameless plug if you are only interested in the free picks but you can purchase today’s premium picks by clicking here.
Now back to today’s free college basketball picks. Besides the Wiseguy College Basketball Pick on today’s premium card there is one other game in particular that has a lot of potential value. This is the match up between Texas A&M and Kansas. Now that we are at the half way point in the NCAA Basketball season, it is safe to say that Kansas has adjusted from losing 6 of their key players to graduation and the NBA. The Jayhawks are an impressive 13-4 including an 11-0 run at home. That home court advantage is probably the reason that the team with a better record is coming to town as a 10 point underdog, Big trouble is in store for A&M is that they are into the heart of their schedule and they are no longer playing the likes of Sam Houston State, McNeese State, and North Dakota. In fact, Texas A&M is 1-2 their last three games now that they are getting into Big 12 play. Their only win came against Baylor who is probably one of the weaker Big 12 teams this season.
When it comes to crunching the actual numbers here is how these two teams play out. A&M is allowing almost 69 points per game on the road, while the offense has been scoring just over 70 points per game. Keep in mind these numbers are against teams that Vegas does not even put a line on because they are not Division 1A schools. While A&M has been dicking around with these loser schools Kansas has been putting up numbers against teams like Kansas State and Tennessee. They also have a one point loss to Massachusetts in a game that obviously could have went the other way. The Jayhawks are scoring 85 points per game at home and the defense is allowing a mere 63 points per game.
There are several betting systems also in favor of the Jayhawks. The first being the fact that preparation is an issue for A&M. The Aggies 16-35 ATS after playing 2 consecutive home game. Kansas is 11-1 straight up against A&M which includes a 4-1 straight up and ATS record the last four times playing at Kansas.
The bottom line is Kansas is going to spank A&M and make the Aggies their bitch for the night. To reiterate my point, the Aggies will be doing the reverse cowboy for Kansas getting a Pablo Picasso plastered on their back. Take Kansas -10 available at BetOnline Sportsbook.
Got something to say?
