March Madness Picks and Predictions

Written March 11, 2009 by Nick Jones

With the NCAA Tournament selections Sunday just a few days away there are several rumors floating around on which teams will make the tournament and which ones are NCAA bubble teams. Anyone can sit and speculate which teams will make the tournament and which ones won’t, but the bottom line is that it really does not matter. That’s right, those teams that might or might not make the tournament are completely irrelevant. Call it a sure thing or a guarantee, or for that matter, call it anything you want but I am certain that this year’s winner will be ranked in a 4 seed or above. It does not matter who is on the bubble because these college basketball teams would not be on the bubble if they were going to be ranked this high.

That being said, this makes your march madness picks a lot easier to make. Whether you are making your college basketball predictions to win your office pool, or make some serious bank on the March Madness Tournament you do not need to know who is on the bubble and who isn’t. Take one of the top 16 teams in the nation and know that if you ride them through the final four you will see success this season. Betting on college basketball picks and march madness predictions is a great time of year to make some serious profits.

Sluggish economy have you down? Start betting on basketball today with the expert handicappers at NickJonesPicks.com and you will see success. As I have stated several times my favorites to win the NCAA tournament this season are Pittsburgh, North Carolina, Oklahoma and UConn. Probably not a surprise to anyone but normally a good handicapper knows that it is pretty unlikely for preseason favorites to actually win the tournament. The key factor in the tournament this year is how each team is seated in their respective regions.

For instance, if UConn took a 2 seat in the tournament in the same bracket as the Tarheels then you can be certain one of these two teams will make the championship game. Regardless of how these teams are seated I am laying in on the line saying complete four march madness pools and you are guaranteed to pick the winning team if you go with each of these top college basketball picks.
